About the Course

Knowing the OSHA standards for the Pharmacy helps create a safe and healthy workplace. This OSHA course is specific to Pharmacies and will teach employees how to refer to Safety Data Sheets that are compliant with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) before using a chemical, what protective equipment to utilize, and why it is important to understand the pharmacy’s Hazardous Communications (HAZCOM) program.

Once you create an account, you can login from any computer or mobile device and train anytime, anywhere.

You have 6 months from enrollment to complete the course. Specific completion deadlines may be mandated by your employer. You can log in and out of your training account and your place in the course will be saved.

Course Outline

Our OSHA online training is 20 minutes long and consists of 5 lessons, a final exam, and a CEU credit claim.

Training Requirements

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires workers to be trained annually by their employers on the risk associated with using hazardous chemicals. This course satisfies the OSHA 'HAZCOM' and 'GHS' training requirement. Employees should be trained before exposure to hazardous materials - as defined by the Law.

Employees have to be re-trained annually.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of our Bloodborne Pathogens Course and final exam, you will be able to immediately print your completion certificate from your My Account page. It will also be e-mailed to you.

If you lose your Bloodborne Pathogens certificate of completion and need a replacement, you can log back into you account and print additional copies.

Continuing Education Option

At the end of the course, you will be able to select the option to claim your ACPE Continuing Education credit for this course.
